The Foundation for Sport Performance

Sports coaches do not always have time to incorporate sufficient physical conditioning during their sport specific training sessions. What makes an athlete stand out is the conditioning that supports sport specific skills especially at primary school level.

Important window of opportunity

Studies have shown that important physical fitness components have window-periods that should be developed before 13 years of age. FIT ensures kids develops in these areas at the optimal age.

Injury prevention

FIT has a strong focus on injury prevention. The program integrates exercises which will strengthen-, stretch- and activate specific muscles and ligaments to lower the risk of injuries.

Social and fun

Encouraging social relationships, FIT also promotes healthy competition and the idea of constantly striving to improve oneself.
